Fraser Canyon Remote Wilderness Adventure for Four People

Silver Anniversary Celebration Table

Midnight Sun Cruise for up to 26 People

This is your chance to host an incredible day on the water! David Doig is offering a half day “Vancouver Harbour and False Creek Cruise” for up to 26 people on his beautiful luxury yacht, “Midnight Sun”. Midnight Sun was built in 1938 for Nootka Packing Company in North Vancouver as a table seiner where she packed herring and pilchards. In the late 1940s she operated as a herring and salmon seiner. She has fished from the Bering Sea to the US West Coast. She is 88 feet in length with a beam of 22 feet and has been restored and refurnished impeccably by her current owners, David and Emma Doig. Enjoy appetizers and wine on the water, then fire up the barbeque for a delicious dockside luncheon by Chef Anne Kirsebom upon your return. Reservations are required and must be mutually agreed upon in the 2012 season.

Carved First Nations Totem Pole

This cedar totem pole was carved and painted by Salish artist Douglas Horn of Victoria, BC. Doug is a wood carver who experiments with unique symbolism. He primarily uses red and yellow cedar or alder. This totem pole depicts a spirit bear holding a salmon. In Northwest Coast symbolism, the bear is a symbol of strength and is always respected and treated as a high raking guest. The salmon is the life source and provider of food for all animals and humans. Salmon are honored and celebrated by all coastal peoples. They serve as a powerful symbol or regeneration, self-sacrifice and perseverance.
Good Ol’ Boys Wine Cellar

There is a 26’ custom sport fishing vessel that has traveled the coast of B.C. every summer since 1987 in search of adventure, new experiences and the sought after Tyee! The owner of the vessel, Paul Dean, and numerous friends & crew get together for an adventure which is called the “Good Ol’ Boys Tyee Tour”. They have a deep respect for the ocean and nature and they regard their experiences and activities as a privilege. In thanks for the work that PSF does to conserve and rebuild Pacific salmon populations, the “Good Ol’ Boys” have put together a collection of their favourite wines for our auction. The assortment is varied and has been assembled with care by this group of connoisseurs.
Shearwater Angling Adventure for Two People

This is a land based lodge with all of the amenities one could want in the remote wilderness location of the Great Bear Rainforest.
