Call for Artists!
It is our pleasure to extend an invitation for you to enter the 2022/2023 Salmon Conservation Stamp Art Competition. This year marks the 34th annual competition and the winning image will be used to produce the 2022/23 Salmon Conservation Stamp. This stamp must be affixed to the British Columbia Tidal Waters Sport Fishing License of any angler intending to retain a species of Pacific salmon. Fisheries and Oceans Canada provides all of the funds generated from stamp sales to the Pacific Salmon Foundation to support restoration, stewardship, and enhancement projects.
Please read through the rules and regulations carefully. We hope to make it clear that we encourage and welcome representational images such as First Nations art and that not all entries will include traditional habitat backgrounds. Please note that the winning artist may not enter the competition for two years following the year that they win the competition. Also of note, PSF is not responsible for any brokerage fees and customs charges for delivery to and from the USA.
Should you know of anyone who would like to enter this competition, please forward this information to them or inform our office of their name and address and we will send the information to them directly. Entry forms can be found here and should be returned by mail, fax or e-mail to:
