Action before extinction: an international conference on conservation of fish genetic diversity



The Action Before Extinction conference was held in Vancouver in 1998. The published proceedings are 259 pages, containing 22 papers representing contributions from 15 countries. The papers cover research and practical aspects of international genetic programs for freshwater and saltwater fish species, as well as a paper describing the experiences of the plant genetic resources community.
