Wild Salmon Day was established in 2019 in British Columbia and this year the Yukon Territory is joining us in recognizing the tremendous cultural and environmental role Pacific salmon play. Wild Salmon Day is an opportunity to raise awareness about the crucial need for people to come together to support salmon resilience and recovery for both salmon and their habitat.
