Summary

This Fisheries and Oceans Canada report assesses the department’s progress on sustainable development and then presents four themes for action: new forms of governance and shared stewardship; knowledge and technology for sustainable development; sustainable operations; and managing for progress and performance. It also looks at emerging issues in marine sustainable development and opportunities for interdepartmental cooperation.
