2025 Comox Valley Gala Dinner & Auction

We are delighted to host our 2025 Comox Valley Gala Dinner & Auction! Join us on Saturday, September 20th at the Florence Filberg Centre. Together, we will celebrate the Comox Valley community and, and the tremendous impact you’ve had on restoring salmon. Funds raised will enable efforts by passionate people hard at work for salmon.

Cocktail hour kicks off at 5:30 PM with seafood appetizers, complimentary champagne, feature raffles, and an exclusive silent auction items. Dinner will follow at 7:00 PM before an entertaining live auction featuring luxury eco-tourism experiences, angling adventures, unique artwork, and other exciting items. Dress: business cocktail.

“Salmon Catching a Butterfly” Metal Art

Courtenay artist, inventor and craftsman, John Czegledi, creates unique patina and stainless metal art sculptures and designs, concrete art sculptures, concrete finishing and custom concrete finishing tools. This metal art sculpture features a coho catching a butterfly.

“Twilight Salmon” Carving donated in memory of Peter McCully

The salmon conservation community recently lost a formidable salmon champion: Peter McCully. Peter was known for his passion for salmon, stewardship, and education, and he was deeply commitment to protecting and restoring wild salmon for future generations. This carving titled “Twilight Salmon” has been created from repurposed cedar, shells & river rock, and donated in Peter’s memory on behalf if the Fanny Bay Salmonid Enhancement Society.

Blue Rodeo is hitting the road for a brand-new Canadian tour, marking an incredible 40 years of music, and this is the chance for you and a guest to attend their show at at Victoria’ Save on Foods Memorial Centre on Thursday, October 9. “bear” Carved Silver Bracelet
