Cam is a senior partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, one of Canada’s preeminent business law firms. Cam is also a recognized business leader, previously serving as one of the founding executives and Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Secretary of PrairieSky Royalty Ltd. (TSX: PSK), Canada’s largest and most diversified energy royalty business and a globally recognized leader in sustainable resource development. Prior thereto Cam was an executive of Daylight Energy Ltd., a publicly traded oil and gas exploration and production company that was sold to Sinopec in 2011. Cam subsequently served as a lead executive and Board member of Sinopec.

Cam has served in executive leadership and director roles in public, private and not-for-profit enterprises and has been a barrister and solicitor for over 20 years. Cam is currently a director of Birchcliff Energy Ltd. (TSX: BIR), one of Canada’s largest producers of natural gas. Cam holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Calgary.

Cam was raised in Vancouver and is a lifelong recreational angler, having spent summers as a fishing guide in the Haida Gwaii. Cam is based in Calgary and is focused on helping the Foundation address the challenges facing wild Pacific salmon stocks and their aquatic ecosystems, expanding the Foundation’s outreach to Alberta anglers, and ensuring that future generations can experience and appreciate one of Canada’s most precious resources.
