Feature Event Summer/Fall 2023

The salmon are returning to B.C.’s waterways this fall, and you’re invited to a Monthly Donor Meet-Up Event to help welcome them home! We are hosting two events that we hope you can attend. Come out and meet others from the PSF community, learn more about salmon, and observe them returning to their natal streams firsthand! Please RSVP below:

After Work Drop-in Salmon Spotting at the Capilano River Hatchery, North Vancouver

SALMON SPOTTING (Thursday, Sep 28th 4:00-6:00 PM)
Details: Meet us in the beautiful surroundings of the Capilano Hatchery to try and spot some salmon swimming upstream and learn about salmon from one of PSF’s resident salmon scientists. Open house style – come by when you can! Feel free to bring friends or family. More info on getting there and meet-up location will be sent to those who RSVP.

Salmon Spotting: Spawners Edition! Location in the Tri-Cities / Burnaby area TBD


SALMON SPOTTING (Late October Event. TBD)
Details: We are planning to meet up to spot salmon spawning in late October in the Tri-Cities or Burnaby area…but nature is hard to predict! Since we don’t know exactly when the spawners will show up based on weather and environmental factors, please let us know if you would like to come and would like more information closer to the date.
