From Watersheds to Waves: Restoring Estuaries for Salmon

June 11, 2025 9am – 3:30pm

DFO, PSF and Washington’s GSRO were pleased to bring together experts to present the latest science, tools and guidance to restore estuary connectivity and habitat for early life stage survival and Pacific salmon recovery.

This virtual workshop brought together experts to present the latest science and guidance to restore estuary connectivity and habitat for early life stage survival and Pacific salmon recovery. Through informational talks and case studies, speakers presented technical design details from estuary projects, provided the most current guidance on restoration techniques, and share valuable lessons learned. Both morning and afternoon panel discussions invited participants to raise questions and discuss this important topic. Thank you to all those who joined us!
